Career Experience

Right after graduating college, I volunteered at a remote rural school that desperately needed STEM teachers, teaching math and physics to middle and high school students. Such experience not only greatly helped those disadvantaged children, but also brought a rewarding sense of accomplishment. Since then, I have developed a passion for teaching.

I Love Tutoring Because

I see teaching as a way to change the world - one student at a time. I am eager to share my knowledge. My philosophy is simple. Each student is unique - it's our job to find the right way to communicate and help them grow.

Hua is very knowledgeable and explains things clearly. He is also customer service oriented and encouraging as you tackle learning new concepts. Today he helped me with learning how to evaluate and solve polynomials. When I initially looked at the problems I was convinced I could not solve them, but Hua helped me through. So my tutor got switch to another person the person i had before did an ok job but the new guy i got switch with was much better he helped me with my math problems and even showed me a new way (my session had to be cut short because im not sure how the system works if each tutor has a set amount of time or its the tutor that has the time) but we were on the last problem and didn't get to finish because the session was cut short
