Description: We offer a number of courses with an emphasis on sustainability at the School, including but not limited to: Management in Public and Private Nonprofit Sectors, Ethical Considerations in Business, Business and the Environment, and Green Energy Entrepreneurship & Strategy, Real Estate Investment & Development of Sustainable Cities. UCLA Anderson also created the campus-wide graduate certificate program "Leaders in Sustainability" which now has over 130 graduate students from over 30 programs at UCLA enrolled. Research Opportunities in Sustainability: Yes
Description: Students conduct independent studies, Applied Management Research studies and case-writing on sustainability-related topics, including studies on carbon footprinting, health care education in Africa, eco-tourism in Peru, and many others.
School's environmental commitment:  
1: The Leaders in Sustainability certificate program
2: On an on-going basis, organizing and participating in a large number of student activities and events including sustainability case competitions, Net Impact Consulting Challenge, and conferences such as the California Clean Innovation Conference.
3: Representation in student government and sections. For instance, sustainability representatives have implemented a new community sponsored agriculture program that brings fresh organic produce to students.
