School-Supported Research Centers or Resources
  • The Center for Energy, Development and the Global Environment (EDGE) at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business is a dynamic hub for education, thought leadership, and industry engagement that enables current and future business leaders to understand and respond effectively to the interrelated global challenges of energy, development, and the environment.
  • A research and education center based at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business, the Center for the Advancement of Social Entrepreneurship (CASE) promotes the entrepreneurial pursuit of social impact through the thoughtful adaptation of business expertise.
  • The Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (CEI) is a new initiative to focus and expand the work on entrepreneurship and innovation at Fuqua. The guiding vision of the center, and one which distinguishes it from entrepreneurship initiatives at most universities, consists of two core ideas: a strong, interdisciplinary research foundation, and a multifaceted integration of research, teaching and practice.
  • The Fuqua/Coach K Center on Leadership & Ethics (COLE) was established in 2004 by Fuqua in collaboration with Duke University Athletics and the Kenan Institute for Ethics. COLE's mission is to redefine leadership and develop leaders for emerging global challenges. The Center does so through deepening and extending the way students, academics, and practitioners think about and practice business leadership and ethics in the 21st century.
  • The Duke MBA Health Sector Management (HSM) program — the largest health industry program among top U.S. business schools — offers interdisciplinary studies that leverage Duke University's longstanding leadership in business education, research, and clinical care. Students work closely with faculty and industry leaders to explore health care's most pressing issues, among them service delivery models, financing alternatives, patient and provider relationships, and organizational processes.
