Career Experience
I spent 2 years as a one-on-one instructor in language skills, math, science, history, and more at a place specializing in students with learning challenges, including but not limited to dyslexia and autism. It covers all grade levels from K-12. I then spent 2 years as a math and computer science paraprofessional, helping students with college-level calculus, statistics, Python, and Java homework. So I can help at just about any grade level and skill level!
I Love Tutoring Because
I love the "Eureka!" moment when someone gains real insight into a subject that was murky before. It's possible to ride along on half-understanding for a while - believe me, I've done it! - but sometimes it takes one-on-one attention to elevate you to that next level, and then you retain the knowledge for years rather than weeks.
