With regard to tutoring in English and writing, I have experience both privately and with my former university, where I tutored undergraduate students in an online setting.

I Love Tutoring Because

teaching in any context is one of my favorite activities. Although I would hardly consider it lucrative, I tend to find myself believing my time is well spent upon helping someone to finally understand some concept that had previously eluded them. For me, there is emotional fulfillment in facilitating knowledge.

Brandon was fantastic! Covered a ton of information, sent great resources I can use offline to take notes, and gave me some of the best information on my writing anybody could. Not only is he smart, but he's relatable. Feels like you're messaging with a friend instead of a boss, making the conversation go smoothly and effortlessly, which for me helps the learning process, I always learn better when I'm smiling. Props to this guy he is the man!

I specifically asked for the tutor to just look at grammar and punctuation and he kept making comments on things that I specifically asked him not to look at which felt like a huge waste of my time. I feel this could have been done in 20 minutes but he took a lot of times overexplaining concepts I already understood.
