Career Experience
My diverse background as an investment banking analyst, financial literacy teacher, and basketball coach has equipped me with a unique set of abilities that make me a well-rounded and effective tutor. I began my professional career working as an investment banking analyst, which has provided me with a strong foundation in quantitative analysis and financial modeling. I have a strong foundation in business, finance, economics, and mathematics. My deep understanding of the key concepts and principles, combined with my practical experience, allows me to provide comprehensive and effective tutoring in these areas. In college, I had the opportunity to teach financial literacy to high school students. This experience allowed me to develop my pedagogical skills and learn how to effectively communicate complex concepts to students of all learning styles. I also developed an ability to connect with students on a personal level and make learning enjoyable. In my free time, I am an assistant high school basketball coach. This experience has taught me the importance of teamwork, perseverance, and setting and achieving goals. I believe that these qualities are essential for success in both academics and athletics.
I Love Tutoring Because
it's incredibly rewarding to see students overcome challenges and achieve their academic goals. I enjoying breaking down complex concepts into simpler terms and witnessing that "aha" moment when something clicks and the lightbulb goes on. Plus, I am a lifelong learner, and tutoring is a great way to stay connected to education and share my knowledge with others.
