Career Experience
With over a decade in education, my journey has taken me from middle school English classrooms to working closely with students with developmental disabilities, including autism and Down syndrome. I've trained teachers, shaped curriculum, and eventually found my way back to what I love most, which is being in the classroom with high school students. My path has given me a deep toolkit of strategies and an even deeper belief that every learner has something remarkable to offer. And yes, I'm still learning too!
I Love Tutoring Because
I love helping students discover new ideas and strengthen their skills, and I often learn something new right alongside them! Every topic, essay, or assignment gives me insight into how different teaching approaches can make learning meaningful. My favorite part is seeing that “light bulb” moment when everything suddenly clicks.
