Career Experience
I have a BS in Chemistry and worked in various laboratories across the country. I taught general chemistry labs at the collegiate level; taught HS chemistry and physics, Algebra I and II, elementary lab and 6th - 9th grade sciences. I substituted and tutored in public schools for 3 yrs prior to joining tutor.com.
I Love Tutoring Because
seeing some students go from completely confused to being confident and knowledgeable in just 20-30 minutes makes tutoring fun. I have learned different techniques for problem solving from some students and have learned a lot that I had forgotten over the years, especially in chemistry. Tutoring keeps learning alive and fun! : )
