I have been teaching English all over the world for the past 12 years and am a counseling psychology graduate. I work as a part-time communication and personal and professional development lecturer at an engineering school and as a consultant for schools to bring out the best in their students. As a registered ASCHP counselor, I assist students in my practice to perform to their best ability by looking at their psychological approach to academics and fostering a growth mindset in their approach to "difficult" subjects. I have been blessed to work for tutor.com for many years and look forward to doing so for many years to come!

I Love Tutoring Because

I understand the importance of communication. During my psychology studies, I realized that most problems originated from our not understanding each other. This is when I decided that I would enjoy essay review work to improve students' writing skills. One of the ways to achieve this goal is to teach students how to write correctly, without ambiguity, and without misunderstandings. The correct tone, layout of papers, and focus on thesis statements are just as important as the actual quality and content of the writing.

I like this tutor's teaching style. I will try to enlist in his help again because I am not the best with grammar and I never have been I especially like the way he actually walked me through how to solve each of the problems that I had and he actually revised my paper for me; That was a huge time safer for me and they overly generous act since I am more on the physical disabled side it's not the easiest thing for me in the world to type it's not impossible but it's not easy either what totally recommend this guy to a friend

This is a great service, I think that there should be a better or more updated way to import information however. Since the tutor needs information from the student and vice versa, it would help to save time by including better ways to set the grounds so both tutor and student can get on the same page faster. Thank God for my resourcefulness! You know only one tutor is no bueno. I chose a different subject then my subject I am in and because of that I am going to get a better grade then I have.
