Career Experience
After having recently retired from a rewarding 25-year teaching career in elementary education, I am ready to start a new chapter in my educational journey by being an online tutor. I have taught all grades K-5 during my career. I spent many years at the Kindergarten level and many years at the 5th grade level. I have also taught all grades in between. As a classroom teacher, I was responsible for teaching the whole class, small groups and individual students. Not only does my experience set me apart, but I also know that no two learners are alike, and I will tailor my tutoring approach to meet each learner's unique needs.
I Love Tutoring Because
… my favorite part of teaching was having those important one-on-one moments with my students. This was when I was able to witness growth and transformation. So, I am looking forward to channeling that passion towards on-line tutoring. Students' success is my goal, so I am excited to walk this journey with you. Please let me know how I can be of service!
