Career Experience
I have been able to most thoroughly cultivate my college-level writing skills through a 4-semester portfolio with a team which included many essays and literature reviews. I also worked as a student employee in my department of academic study for 2 years, where I was able to play both the role of a student advocate, while working closely with faculty, as well as assisting fellow students with the assigned coursework.
I Love Tutoring Because
as a graduate student, I think tutoring will be a great way to help undergraduate students with writing essays with the experience I have gained and continue to cultivate in this area. Written language is a crucial and valuable way we communicate, so as a future speech-language pathologist, I believe to tutor writing is a great way to encourage language expression in others as well.
