I am a writing scholar and college English instructor with experience teaching students how to build confidence, think critically, and communicate clearly in academic writing. I Love Tutoring Because

I enjoy helping students find their voice, gain confidence, and make sense of ideas that may once have felt overwhelming. It is rewarding to watch a student move from frustration to understanding and realize they are more capable than they thought.

While this was still very helpful, the tutor, while well educated and informative, was not very familiarized with Chicago Manual Style. If there's a specific category that has tutors more specifically knowledgeable about that, could it be made more clear? Otherwise, this was exactly what I needed. Thanks for providing this service!
