Career Experience
With over 6 years of hands on, successful learning and instructing experiences (math, science, and CTE courses) and another 4 years of administrative experience with children, I am very confident in my ability and passion to become a positive asset to students' educational journey! A part of my philosophy is believing in high quality relationships, and meeting students where they are by using data driven instructions, differentiating learning, and using those same relationships to support a wide range of academic needs. As an educator, I value consistency, collaboration, accountability, high expectations, and opportunities to tutor and help students overcome obstacles, all to promote success for students.
I Love Tutoring Because
I love helping students of all ages and academic levels grow in understanding but also confidence. I love working one-on-one or in small groups to break down challenging concepts into manageable steps that make sense to each learner. As an educator, there is nothing more rewarding than seeing a student move from frustration and uncertainty to understanding. My favorite part is witnessing that "ahhhh-haaa" moment when everything finally clicks, and they realize they can do it. Those moments remind me why I am passionate about tutoring and teaching.
