The day after my graduation, I opened my own business: a gaming lounge for young adults and kids. I have a passion for working with the youth and have recently begun getting into the tutoring field again. I was an emergency substitute for my local school district as well as a student tutor during my college career. I am most passionate about mathematical studies and technical writing. I believe that the purpose of education is to gain perspective.

I Love Tutoring Because

I love helping others realize their full potential. It is a very joyful experience to be able to work on a problem together and find the solution. I've learned from my work experience that it is not easy to ask for help. Anyone who asks for help is already exhibiting a strong "growth" mentality, and I am happy to be able to be there to help out. I also gain a lot of new perspective from working with others on problems.

The tutor pointed out some grammar issues because it seems I write how I speak. In realizing this it's much harder for me to see the issues in my writing without them being pointed out. I would have liked more specifications/commentary on my essay itself.
