Career Experience
I am a first-year PhD student in a biological sciences program with several years of research experience in biochemistry, biomaterials, and quantitative biology. Prior to graduate school, I worked in an academic research setting focused on extracellular vesicle biomarker discovery, advanced proteomics, and assay development. I also have extensive experience mentoring students in chemistry, biology, and data analysis. My background spans wet-lab techniques, computational analysis, and scientific communication, and I enjoy helping students strengthen foundational STEM skills and problem-solving strategies.
I Love Tutoring Because
it allows me to meet students where they are and help them discover that challenging subjects can become manageable, and even fun, with the right support. I enjoy breaking down complex topics into clear, approachable steps and watching students gain confidence as concepts begin to click. Helping someone understand a topic they once found intimidating is incredibly rewarding, and I value the opportunity to provide encouragement and clarity as students build both skills and confidence.
