Career Experience

I've been a writing tutor for over 3 years. I also taught First-year Composition for one year. I've worked with hundreds of students for thousands of hours, trained to work with them through the whole writing process. I serve as a soundboard for writers and tap into my own experience to offer writers various methods to approach their compositions.

I Love Tutoring Because

it allows me to blend my desire to help others with my love of literature and writing. Tutoring is the perfect profession for someone who enjoys working with others to achieve a goal. As someone who struggled in academia, I am so happy that I can step into a role for others that I wish I had when I was a student. Through tutoring, I am able to assist students as well as encourage and motivate them to trust their instincts and believe in their ability as writers.
