Lessons help you to master the content of the GRE.

Some lessons are designed to be done before class. Completing these lessons prior to class will help you to get the most out of each of your live class sessions. To find the lessons that you need to complete before each class, expand a class on the syllabus tab and look in the Before Class section. Note that there are drills that can help you to master the content of these lessons. Be sure to complete the drills as well as the lesson!

Other lessons are designed to help you review or make up the material that was covered in a live class session. To find these lessons, expand a class on the syllabus tab and look in the Class section.

Homework Drills help you to master the content and strategies that you learn in class. To find the homework drills that go with each topic of your live class, expand a class on the syllabus tab and look in the After Class section.

There are two ways that you can use your practice drills.

  • Drill Smart introduces an exciting new feature designed to power up your prep. Each time you choose Drill Smart , we’ll serve you a series of drills calibrated at your exact level of difficulty…the same way that the real GRE adjusts by section. You can always choose any drill you want, but we recommend Drill Smart as a way to find practice that is exactly at your level.
  • Drills A la Carte is a more traditional way of doing homework practice. Using this method, you can pick as many drills as you like at whichever difficulty level you want.

Reviewing Your Practice Test

GRE Math Fundamentals includes two 1.5 hour live online classes that cover some of the basic content that is tested by over half of GRE math problems. One session covers number properties and operations with numbers. The other session covers working with algebra, exponents, and roots.

You can attend each session at any time during your course. You can also attend the sessions before your course begins, which is a great way to get a jump on your GRE prep! If you’d like, you can even attend sessions multiple times.

From the Welcome tab, you can see the next two scheduled sessions. From the Schedule tab, you can see additional scheduled sessions. To attend a session, all you need to do is click the calendar icon to add the session to your schedule. Then, go to your student portal shortly before the start of the session. You’ll see a link to launch the online classroom. Click that link to go to class.

All sessions are recorded. If none of the scheduled sessions work with your schedule, you can review the material by watching one of the recordings.
