King's is a liberal arts Catholic college that offers growth and personal development in a supportive environment. Founded in 1946 by the Congregation of Holy Cross from the University of Notre Dame, we're a located on a small urban campus in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Founded in 1946 by the Congregation of Holy Cross from the University of Notre Dame, we're a located on a small urban campus in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Small classes and labs allow for meaningful interaction with professors. Our average class size is 18 students, average lab size is 13 students, and the student/faculty ratio is 16:1. This personal attention translates into better graduation rates than at institutions with larger classroom environments. At King's we offer 35 Majors in Business, Humanities, Social Sciences, Education, Sciences and Allied Health programs, 7 Pre-professional programs and 10 Special Concentrations. With our 40 clubs and activities and 19 NCAA Division III athletic programs for men and women there is plenty to do outside the classroom. King's consistently ranks high in the top college national review issues of several major publications. " For 14 straight years, King's has been ranked in the top tier of U.S.News & World Report's list of Best Colleges in the United States.
