Rachel Emling
SAT Tutor
Rachel has been helping students achieve their goal scores on the SAT since 2012 and is also certified in AP English Language and Composition and AP English Literature and Composition. She's been tutoring Live Online since 2019 and certified for the Digital SAT in June 2023. Her students find her approachable and energetic, and she's always ready to give a pep talk, review a concept, or answer questions. She holds a BA in English, MAs in both English and Medieval Studies, and is currently working towards a PhD in Medieval Literature while teaching First Year Composition. In her free time, she likes to watch good (and bad!) movies and listen to fantasy novels while knitting or crocheting.
Tori Paternoster
SAT Tutor
Tori Paternoster has been helping students master the SAT since 2015. Her passion for test prep began when she became a 2014 National Merit Scholar, an achievement that earned her a full scholarship to Baylor University, from which she graduated with Honors. Tori is passionate about helping her students. She lives to see them discover the skills and intelligence they've always had. Her teaching style is relaxed, friendly, and tailored to her student's needs. Tori sees standardized test scores as a tool to help students achieve their dreams, and loves The Princeton Review approach because it makes dream scores possible!
Stephen Shuck
SAT Tutor
Stephen has been teaching courses and tutoring students with The Princeton Review for over 15 years. Though it’s probably quicker for him to list out the tests he hasn’t taught, his main area of expertise is the SAT and ACT. He will always encourage his students to walk him through their thinking process so we can come up with efficient strategies to tackle each and every problem. He always wants his students to know that these exams do not reflect a student’s intellectual capabilities - these tests are simply challenges to be overcome and they can be with the right strategy and a lot of practice. He currently resides in Durham, NC with his wife and two boys.
Anne Delp
SAT Tutor
Anne has degrees in civil and environmental engineering and has worked as a tutor for decades helping students in areas of math, english grammar and writing, as well as multiple fields of science. An SAT tutor with TPR since 2018, she absolutely loves helping students become more confident about test taking and attain their dream score on the SAT! She creates specific tutoring experiences that are individualized for each student that identifies their strengths and areas for improvement and works with their learning style.
Jeff Pozy
SAT Tutor
Jeff has tutored hundreds of students at the Princeton Review. He prides himself on his ability to tailor his approach to the strengths (and personality) of the student. Jeff truly embraces the Socratic method of instruction. He asks and answers questions to stimulate critical thinking and to draw out ideas and underlying assumptions. Jeff has a positive attitude. He actively builds up confidence in his students!
Sweena Mangal
SAT Tutor
Sweena Mangal started working at Princeton Review in 2018 while pursuing a Bachelor’s of Science in Cognitive Science with a Specialization in Computing at UCLA. She focuses on the student’s mentality when it comes to test-taking, and focuses on the root issue that prevents a student from achieving the score that they want. Even if a student is afraid of doing something wrong, she encourages students to make mistakes during sessions such that they build confidence for test day.
