The Princeton Review & Entrepreneur Magazine Name The Top 50 Schools For Entrepreneurship Programs For 2015

NEW YORK, September 16, 2014 — The Princeton Review and Entrepreneur magazine announced today the results of The Princeton Review's annual survey that names the top 25 undergraduate schools and top 25 graduate schools offering the best programs for entrepreneurship studies in the nation.

From more than 2,000 schools that The Princeton Review surveyed in 2014 for this project, Babson College in Massachusetts earned the #1 spot on the undergraduate entrepreneurship programs ranking list: it has been #1 on this list for three consecutive years. Harvard University finished #1 on the graduate entrepreneurship programs list—up from #3 in 2013.

The two top 25 entrepreneurship program ranking lists follow. In all, 36 institutions' undergraduate and/or graduate programs are named on the lists this year.

The Princeton Review will post the ranking lists today at Princeton Review's Entrepreneurs Ranking page . There, users can also access The Princeton Review's detailed profiles on the schools, and information about the survey methodology and criteria for the rankings.

Entrepreneur has a feature article on the lists in its October issue, available on newsstands September 23. The feature will post on the magazine's site on September 16 at .

The Princeton Review surveyed undergraduate and graduate schools for this project from April through June 2014. The survey asked school administrators 60 questions covering: their schools' levels of commitment to entrepreneurship inside and outside the classroom, the percentage of faculty, students, and alumni actively and successfully involved in entrepreneurial endeavors, and the number and reach of their mentorship programs. The company also asked schools about their scholarships and grants for entrepreneurial studies, and their support for school-sponsored business plan competitions.

This year's roster includes 14 schools whose undergraduate and graduate entrepreneurship programs each made the lists. It also includes two newcomers to the undergraduate list: the University of Michigan at #18, and the University of Washington at #19. Four schools are new on the graduate list: Northwestern University at #6, Baruch College — City University of New York at #14, Syracuse University at #17, and DePaul University at #20.

Robert Franek, The Princeton Review's Senior VP-Publisher, commented Of more than 30 data points we analyze to tally our lists, what these extraordinary college and b-school programs have in common are superb faculties truly engaged in entrepreneurism, awesome out-of-class offerings, and enduring support from donors and alumni. Applicants to each of these schools will have extraordinary opportunities to interact with successful entrepreneurs, learn from outstanding mentors, and hone skills to launch their own exciting businesses.

Formal instruction and mentorship from great minds in business can help leaders prepare for the challenges that come with entrepreneurship, said Amy Cosper, VP and editor in chief of Entrepreneur magazine. The schools in our annual list have ranked high for creating some of the best environments to nurture the pursuit of building a business from the ground up.

The Princeton Review has partnered with Entrepreneur Media Inc. on this project since 2006.
