Student Testimonials
Maile Cerizo
Graduation Year:2007

Before visiting PLNU, I had my heart set on going to a secular school far from home. Yet, everything changed once I attended chapel services, lived in the dorm for a week and got to know the students. The Christian community was made up of people who truly cared about each other, a concept I realized would ultimately prove essential to a great college experience.

Blake Nelson
Graduation Year:2008
Major:Film Studies

I love filmmaking, and NYU had just offered me a scholarship to attend its film school. But there was Point Loma, sitting tight in the back of my mind. I loved their community, but [I thought] I could kiss goodbye any hope of my storytelling reaching audiences if I compromised [and attended PLNU]. After much time praying and thinking, I eventually decided to go the place that gave me the most peace, and I know I made a good choice.
