Career Experience

I began tutoring while in college, back in 2015. I worked for my university's writing center for three years, helping students ages 13-65! Since graduating in 2018, I have continued tutoring, working in-person with mainly K-12 students. I worked with one eighth grade student for an entire year! It was awesome to watch him grow as a writer during that time. I also designed and ran a writing and art heavy book club for several middle schoolers. Since the COVID pandemic started in 2020, I have switched to online tutoring, helping college students with their writing assignments. As of August 2022, I am working on an MA in Professional Communication.

I Love Tutoring Because

I became a writing tutor at my university's writing center my sophomore year of college, and have loved tutoring ever since. Getting to share my knowledge and help a student grow is an amazing feeling!
