Career Experience
I began working in education by working part time as a substitute teacher for a school year. I took a year hiatus from this work to do a hospitality internship at a retreat center. I returned to substitute teaching after this while I consider a further career in education.
I Love Tutoring Because
being an instrument in a child’s education is an amazing privilege. If I can help form a child into the person they are meant to become, then I have participated in an incredible activity. Working with kids of a variety ages and experiences helps me grow as a person well as I (hopefully) try to grow more in patience and compassion.
