Career Experience

I have been teaching for over 25 years mostly in essay writing and English as a Second Language. I've been a tutor on this platform for over 11 years. I believe that in order to be successful, it is critical to discover each student's learning style. In my Masters psychology work, I've done much research on ways to balance the left and right brain hemispheres in order to make learning stick! I'm currently developing a curriculum for youth about literacy and learning tied to the Expressive Arts (mask-making, singing, painting, drama, puppetry). I am a published author and am a professional proofreader. I have edited two books and most recently a book on sustainability, which is an interest of mine.

I Love Tutoring Because

I enjoy working with life-long learners regardless of age or ability and believe that ordinary people have extra-ordinary knowledge and talents if we better understand their individual learning style. Inspiring others to be life-long learners is a passion of mine.
