Career Experience
After college I spent more than 7 years as a college admissions counselor of a state university and assistant director of admissions at a small private liberal arts college. I then transitioned to a corporate communications specialist for a customer retention and sales center. I am currently an IT project manager at an insurance company and love it! My career has revolved around effective communication, written and oral, in various professional environments.
I Love Tutoring Because
I like to help students succeed. I tutored math in college and really liked being a part of student success. Seeing a concept click or a student get a grade they are proud of makes it all worth it. I also enjoy the challenge of working with students of all learning styles. What works for one person may not work for another, and I love being creative and finding ways to make it click.
