I have had the pleasure of working in an ESL program (helping language learners), being a private tutor, interning as a fulltime elementary school teacher, and homeschooling my children.
I Love Tutoring Because
I am presented with the opportunity to meet the child exactly where they are at & help them to move to the next step with full understanding. When working with a small or large group, there isn't as much of a certainty about each of the other children grasping concepts. The one-on-one conversation and interaction allows for that certainty. I am passionate about helping children feel confident in all areas/subjects, and tutoring is the perfect opportunity to do so.
