Career Experience

I have over 8 years of tutoring experience in a variety of math subjects from high school through higher level college math courses. Currently, I work as a software analyst and programmer. One major task for my job is helping my clients break down concepts into small, digestible pieces. This is a skill I like to teach my tutoring students. When my student is able to back away from a big, complicated math problem and see it, instead, as many simpler problems, they are able to ease their anxiety and boost their confidence.

This session was wonderful. I have never done two problems in one session but it didn´t feel exhausting or overly difficult. The tutor was very quick to praise and encourage. Also, I had to step away from the computer for a minute or so. Upon returning, I found that he hadn´t ended the session. Very kind and understanding and made sure I understood the concept before moving on. Good session!
