Career Experience

I have a BS in Chemistry and worked in various laboratories across the country. I taught general chemistry labs at the collegiate level; taught HS chemistry and physics, Algebra I and II, elementary lab and 6th - 9th grade sciences. I substituted and tutored in public schools for 3 yrs prior to joining tutor.com.

I Love Tutoring Because

seeing some students go from completely confused to being confident and knowledgeable in just 20-30 minutes makes tutoring fun. I have learned different techniques for problem solving from some students and have learned a lot that I had forgotten over the years, especially in chemistry. Tutoring keeps learning alive and fun! : )

The feedback I give you guys is when we put in the third grade they have to teach us and I give us third grade strategies because sometimes the tutors give us fourth grade strategies but we don't know that because we're in third grade so that's the little feedback I'm giving you guys but she was excellent I'm adding her to my favorites she was good average she wasn't below average she wasn't poor as part I mean disappointed she was good like everything she was awesome amazing
