Career Experience
I served as a supplemental instructor of general chemistry during my sophomore year at my undergraduate university. As reflected by my degree in sociology (bestowed magna cum laude), I am fascinated by topics relevant to history and social studies. As grammar skills come naturally to me, during the spring of 2019, I earned my certificate to teach English as a foreign language before interning at a cancer research lab over the summer. I have been with tutor.com for over a year now and love this job.
I Love Tutoring Because
I am myself a student and realize that completely mastering content taught in class is a very empowering feeling at exam time. Because the professor's teaching style can be generic rather than customed to individual student needs, I want to be that extra but necessary outside-of-class help.
