I found this very helpful to check my understanding of the underlying principles and concepts. I thought I understood the material (because I did well on the homework) but oooooh my goodness, no. I asked my questions, the tutor asked me to think 'out loud' on the whiteboard/word processor, he corrected my understanding and told me when I was close to the correct reasoning and when I was not even close (he said it way nicer than that), and he gave me examples when I wrote where I was stuck in my understanding and thinking. He definitely didn't help me with any homework (it was already submitted before I did this session), but I feel way more confident with my understanding of frequency polygons now. Thanks!

There's not really any situations, just that they have a delay on their messages, i'd have to wait for a single message, not sure if it's their trouble, mine or the app itself. But in general, this helps me a lot :)

They helped me walk through the steps of the quadratic formula, corrected me when I got something wrong and guided me towards the correct answer, and explained what the +over- symbol did and how to use it. Both the formula and symbol looked really complicated when I first saw this problem, but they broke it down in a simple way I could understand and it helped me a lot Thank you :))

I was originally working with a tutor named Anita who was excellent but the system had an error and closed my session. I was then linked with another tutor who was not as engaging as the Anita. The whiteboard was also tough to move around without it capturing my attempts to move down on the board as me writing.
