I currently serve as a college dean and have been in this capacity for the past 20+ years. One of my biggest joys in this position is conducting classes for new students on how to be successful in college while still maintaining a desirable school/work/life balance. I am also CompTIA A+ certified and love teaching technology, specializing in troubleshooting, networking, operating systems and Office applications.

It was less of a conversation more of him just telling me tips after tips instead of asking what exactly what I needed. Different students have different learning styles, so him just giving me tips and then asking does this help doesn't really help me.

Joseph was a great tutor, but this was the only positive experience I have had with this site. I only got Joseph because my first tutor who confirmed our appointment no-showed. Prior to this, I needed help last year with another course and after multiple weeks was not able to get through to a tutor at all. While I do like the concept, and appreciate the free help through Penn State and I'm sure this helps many people, there is much room for improvement.
