I am a mathematics educator for over 20 years. I have taught mathematics from high school courses to college courses. My joy as an instructor is to always find a way to cater to students' learning needs, no matter if they are fast-paced or slow-paced learners.

I Love Tutoring Because

I get a chance to make a do-over of the course material with the students, which helps them concretize the ideas.

did not offer much explanation/additional help when I stated I did not understand. It is hard to get a consistent tutor to help me fully understand. It feels like each tutor just wants to get done as fast as possible and it really inconvenient as this is the only math help that works with my school + work schedule.

I liked the help from this tutor, except I would have appreciated some more conversation on what was going on so that I could do some work and not just watch the tutor do it for me? If that makes sense? But it did help me understand the question!
