Career Experience
I have taught many grade levels including elementary, middle and high school. I have focused primarily in English language arts, history and social science over the past few years. I have also taught English as a second language for several years. I have experience working with adult learners as both a professional development facilitator and coach. I enjoy the aspects of adult learning, as well as working with younger learners.
I Love Tutoring Because
it gives me the chance to focus on the individual needs of students in a one on-one or small group setting. This is inspiring because it allows me to see the success of students who did not at first have success as learners. I always want to see students succeed and reach their learning potential that may not be quite achieved in a traditional setting.
