Career Experience

I have taught many grade levels including elementary, middle and high school. I have focused primarily in English language arts, history and social science over the past few years. I have also taught English as a second language for several years. I have experience working with adult learners as both a professional development facilitator and coach. I enjoy the aspects of adult learning, as well as working with younger learners.

I Love Tutoring Because

it gives me the chance to focus on the individual needs of students in a one on-one or small group setting. This is inspiring because it allows me to see the success of students who did not at first have success as learners. I always want to see students succeed and reach their learning potential that may not be quite achieved in a traditional setting.

I think you did great, but I don't think I made it clear that it was meant to be a long story. I was not very close to being complete at all and the tutor didn't know that, so some of the feedback was not as useful as it could have been. Great overall :)
