Career Experience

In my early career, I worked as a reporter for a small community newspaper, then I launched my own monthly magazine which circulated in our region for more than a decade. Once I received my graduate degree, I began teaching at the local college and worked as a public librarian. In all, I have used my writing skills as a foundation for a 30-year career as a creative, journalistic, and nonfiction writer.

I Love Tutoring Because

I enjoy helping students learn, understand, and overcome challenges. Writing is a passion of mine, and most students make it more complicated than it needs to be. No matter what we're writing - reports, news, journal entries, etc. - writing and communication are core keys to success. I love helping my students better express themselves.
