I worked as a reader, scoring math and science portions of assessment tests like the OGT and iLeap. The experience gave me invaluable insight into how students think and approach the problem-solving process.

I Love Tutoring Because

it just makes my day when students realize math is enjoyable. As a student exclaimed: "This is so much fun when it makes sense!" I couldn't put it better if I tried.

It's definitely easier to understand with someone there to show you step by step and answer questions. I do wish there were easier or less space-consuming ways to complete some problems, but for the sake of conceptual understanding, it's very effective.
