Most of my professional career was spent as a software engineer developing software which runs on the various flavors of the Microsoft Windows operating system, as they developed over the years. It was interesting and well-paying work. I am now semi-retired but wish to give back to the world what was given to me by the many good and hard-working faculty members at academic institutions I have attended.

I Love Tutoring Because

it is satisfying to me to help students who may not consider math or science their favorite subjects, but get to the point, with my help, of having that aha! moment when they grasp the concepts governing the problems they are working on.

Discrete mathematics is an incredibly hard subject. The course itself is very hard to learn from. Outside help like from the tutors and videos is the only way it is making any sense.

Umm honestly the whiteboard was hard to use, my tutor didn't use his mic very hard to communicate. It was also hard to just talk on text and I didn't understand it at all.
