I think before beginning a tutoring session, the tutor should first review the item that the student is requesting help with, and ask what level of confidence the student is at, before proceeding. In do so, it could potentially save tutoring time for the student.

He really helped me out, I just wish this service wasn't time limited per semester because sometimes a single question will take 30 mins to complete so it makes me anxious I will run out of time in the semester. I am only a week into summer semester and I think I've used 1 and a half hours already. I really appreciated the service overall though.

kind of difficult to understand what the tutors mean when they are typing it but once elaborated it makes more sense, it depends on the subject but I really liked my tutor and they were very patient with me not understanding.

At the beginning of this session my tutor told me this topic was too advanced for me rather, as a struggling student that is one of the most devidtating things to here. They continued to try to help me after that, and it did some. However, that rough start was hard to get over.

Greta tutoring! I am not sure how my teacher sleeps at night with his low DNF rate. These tutors have helped me learn more than my teacher and gave me piece of advice which challenged me, but they also did not make the stress intolerable. In my Psychology class stress should be applied in tolerable amounts for you to have growth potential. I would say that this is genuinely this is the biggest and best step my school has taken for growth.
