Tutoring gives me joy. I particularly like helping with higher order issues (the way the essay works together). Examples of these issues include organization, research, and style. I also treasure working with young students.

I feel like tutors should have more resources to share with students. I reached out for help with creating citations, and my tutor was able to give only the most general advice. This assignment is literally an all or nothing grade. While I found her to be very personable and more than willing to do some work to help, she ultimately was not able to provide much insight. I think if she had access to more/better resources, it would have helped me more.
