Career Experience
I worked as a writing tutor for four years while obtaining my undergraduate degrees. I worked mainly in science writing but have experience with all types of writing, and a strong STEM background. I did my undergraduate research on humpback whale behavior in Hawaii, and worked on research and tour boats observing marine wildlife. I have swam with some of Earth’s most amazing marine life! So please ask me for some cool stories! I spent some of that time earning my USCG Captains License, as well as volunteering at community land trusts and kalo farms doing sustainability projects and environmental work. I have worked in daycares and kids camps my whole life, as well a summer camps.
I Love Tutoring Because
tutoring offers me the unique opportunity to not only help students achieve their goals but also to give back to the community. Tutoring allows me to utilize my critical thinking skills, and learn new things as well! I love teaching and helping each individual student overcome any obstacle they face.
