Career Experience
For 10 years I worked in corporate accounting roles across industries such as banking, consumer-packaged goods, media, and technology. I managed a team of accountants for several years prior to transitioning from accounting into a financial systems role in 2022, where I most recently managed a team of analysts and consultants. I oversaw the financial systems organization in which my team was responsible for the maintenance and configuration of our enterprise resource system. Our responsibility was for a global organization with operations in Europe, Costa Rica, Japan, and the United States. We also served as the product managers for an internally developed billing and revenue recognition system that had a dedicated onsite engineering team. I possess several certifications in Microsoft Office products, Power BI, and integration technologies, and I have experience writing code in multiple languages such as C#, Python, SQL, and VBA. I’m very fortunate to work in a field in which my personal interests align with my career choice.
I Love Tutoring Because
I truly enjoy helping others achieve their educational goals. In addition, I'm a first-generation college graduate, so I understand the impact that an education can have on someone's life as well as the lives of their family. Lastly, I also enjoy discussing the subjects that I tutor, as they're not only my career but also personal interests of mine.
