Hello! I have been tutoring for about ten years now. I am an English, English/Essay, and social studies tutor. I have a journalism and writing background and love all my sessions, but especially enjoy literature sessions.

Although the tutor did address my concerns. This was the first time in my years of using tutor.com that I felt really rushed. I'm not sure if this is a new thing with my type of membership, if it is I don't fault the tutor, but I surely felt like she was rushing through my document and not reading it completely before commenting on what needed changed. I will connect again once I make the revisions she suggested and hope that if I do get her she won't have to rush so much.

I really liked working with Monica. She helped me review concepts first to ensure I understood it and then we worked on my assignment. Understanding the concepts first and providing me examples really helped me a lot. She also made sure we utilized time well so even within a 1 hour time frame, we were able to cover a lot.
