Career Experience
Since 2012, I have worked as a writing tutor and in tutor-adjacent spaces as an administrator. During my undergraduate and Masters studies, I worked as a writing tutor. During my doctoral studies, I worked as a writing tutor and graduate director of my writing center. Now, in my professional career, I direct a staff of over 50 student employees that work as tutors and supplemental instructors.
I Love Tutoring Because
it gives me the opportunity to leverage my experiences and expertise to help students discover and understand their own learning. It also provides me the opportunity to provide mentorship to students and give them guidance about things that I had to teach and learn myself.
