Career Experience

While in college, I worked at the Learning Center as a mathematics and general student skills tutor, assisting students in developing studying, time management, critical reasoning, note-taking and test taking skills. I have worked as a middle school mathematics teacher in NYC public middle schools, as a mathematics professor and an IGCSE high school mathematics teacher to international students. I am also TEFL certified and interned at a K-8 school teaching international students content subjects in English.

I Love Tutoring Because

it allows me to help students gain understanding with the subjects and content that they are struggling with. It also helps students to start believing in themselves and their skill set again in these topics that they struggle with. It allows me to give students the one on one or small group instruction that doesn't happen often enough in the traditional classroom setting.
