Career Experience
My tutoring experience spans both peer and professional settings. Throughout my academic career, I have informally tutored classmates across a range of subjects, including math, physics, robotics, and test preparation, working one-on-one to help them break down difficult concepts and build confidence. More recently, I have worked as a communications tutor at the university where I am studying, where I work with college students to strengthen their writing and speaking skills. In my tutoring approach, developed through LEADS training and professional experience, I prioritize understanding where a student is struggling before jumping to solutions, and, more importantly, I emphasize that the student comes up with their own solutions. Allowing the information to become more deeply embedded. I focus on building genuine understanding rather than just drilling answers. Finally, I tailor my suggestions to students' needs, because everyone learns differently. I am comfortable working with middle school, high school, and college-level students in one-on-one settings, and I am eager to continue growing as a tutor.
I Love Tutoring Because
it allows me to contribute my education towards the benefit and help of others. Being able to break down complex topics ranging from Chemistry to Calculus to Physics has always been a joy of mine, and online tutoring is one of the best places to do that.
