Career Experience
My background is in psychology, with extensive experience with research methodology. I am currently an academic coach, which involves assisting doctoral students in building research methodology and statistical design & analysis on dissertations. I have been tutoring and coaching for over 5 years and am a tutor mentor for statistics, psychology, and research methods tutors.
I Love Tutoring Because
I love helping students reach that "ah ha" moment when everything finally clicks. In statistics, students are working with complex ideas and oftentimes barely understand the steps to take to solve the problem, let alone understand why they did what they did. My job is to help students connect those dots and bring those concepts full circle.
