Career Experience
I have over seven years of professional teaching experience. I've worked with students from all over the world, from Latin America to Asia. I started as a volunteer before becoming a full-time English language teacher in Japan. I returned to the US and began tutoring online. Still, I also started a freelance writing, editing, and tutoring business, have helped many people with their copy and essays, and created my own work.
I Love Tutoring Because
There is nothing more satisfying than seeing the smiling faces of my students when they succeed. I've worked with children as young as three and adults in their senior years, and everyone is happy to learn new things when taught in a fun and organic manner. For me, tutoring, writing, and editing are the three cornerstones of my skills, and they relate to each other more than others may think. When I write, I express a topic for others to read about and learn. When I edit, I help a writer understand how to present their topic better. When I tutor, I help my students grasp topics to help them express themselves and further their academic goals. I can't wait to see you in my classroom!
