My professional background in civil engineering spans a diverse range of experience, from transportation engineering consulting to academic research. During my time as a master's-level research assistant, I had the opportunity to work on a variety of projects that helped me develop my skills and expand my knowledge base. I also served as a classroom research assistant, working alongside university professors to conduct quantitative, qualitative, and mixed studies in the educational environment. I've had the opportunity to monitor a wide range of subjects within the civil engineering program, including calculus, physics, structural design, and transportation engineering. My skills include coordinating and planning data collection, as well as using advanced software like R, Python, and Excel for data analysis and reporting. I'm also proficient in business intelligence tools like Power BI for data storytelling, which has been incredibly useful in my work. In summary, I am fortunate enough to be able to work in a field that I'm passionate about and to leverage my skills to make a tangible impact on society.
