I have 13 years of experience as a writer/editor, and 5 years of experience as a tutor. I currently work as a technical writer. I produce and maintain technical documentation for braking systems, automatic door systems, and climate control systems for the North American mass transit market. Throughout my college career, I worked as a writing tutor in both my universities' writing centers.

I Love Tutoring Because

I enjoy helping people, and I especially enjoy the "lightbulb" moment as a concept clicks for a student learner. I love helping people build writing skills because everyone can benefit from learning to write clearly, concisely, and correctly, no matter what their career.

I think there needs to be the availability for student to input their time frame. Like if they can only work for 30 minutes during this session and then they can join later again.
