Career Experience
I taught middle school English, drama, and journalism for three years. Then I changed districts and taught at the same high school for 37 years, mostly 11th and 12th English, ERWC (Expository Reading and Writing Course), and theatre (directing the plays for 34 years). I continue to run workshops for the state university system, training teachers to teach ERWC which is a course designed to help students read and write persuasively.
I Love Tutoring Because
some of the most fruitful learning happens during personalized, one-on-one time. I love helping people discover ideas, clarify thinking, and become more confident overall.
