Stockton University was founded in 1969 with the guiding principle of placing students first, and now, over 50 years later, those same principles have helped Stockton grow into a nationally and regionally recognized university. With over 160 areas of study, small class sizes, state-of-the-art facilities, and a flexible liberal arts curriculum, Stockton offers the academic and social advantages of a large university and the communal spirit of a smaller college, all rolled into one. Students are encouraged to take an active role both in and out of the classroom, through numerous internship, service-learning, and civic-engagement opportunities.
Stockton graduates are lifelong learners and global citizens who are ready to face a diverse, ever-changing world.

Undergrads note that the school’s programs “offer lots of hands-on, real-world experience” through “research, internships, and on-campus jobs.” Two such examples are the “good partnerships with the FAA and Atlanticare Hospital that create a lot of internships.”
